Fresh & Fancy Farms Draws Interest With Farm to Table Cooking Classes

Salsa's, salads and herb infused lemonades make a summer night on the farm a memorable experience.

The first in the series of cooking classes being held at Fresh & Fancy Farms was held Thursday evening in the Barn's kitchen.

Fresh & Fancy owner, Meg Low, was the host who led the group in making summer hor dourves using fresh farm produce. All dishes were prepared from scratch with locally grown ingredients.

"Our goal with the class was to inspire our guests to utilize seasonal ingredients," Low said.

Starting July 25th, Fresh & Fancy Farms will have a farmers market available Thursdays - Saturdays.

Here is the menu the class prepared and enjoyed as a group. The full recipes will be up on Fresh & Fancy's blog soon.
