I'm a New Milford resident who believes in reform. General logic and pragamtism is all one needs to realize something is very wrong with the current state of local/state/federal government - bringing more light to unsolved issues along with possible, rational suggestions for improvement should in no way be seen as a threat to officials. In fact, quite the contrary.

Anything that promotes intelligent thinking, practical solutions, and shuns special interest is what this blog hopes to identify and bring to light. Once upon a time, this "watchdog journalism" was commonplace and helped keep local government and special interests in check. Current economic conditions are nothing more than a result of how our society is lacking these checks and balances on a local/state/federal levels.
