Board of Ed, Environmental Commission, Rent Leveling Top the Week Ahead in New Milford

A look at the week ahead in New Milford.

The Board of Education will be holding its work session Monday at 7pm in the Media Center at New Milford High School. The public is invited to attend. The Berkley Street Elementary School PTO is meeting Tuesday at 7:30pm at the school. The Gibbs Elementary School PTO is meeting Wednesday at 7:30pm at the school. The High School is hosting "Growing Up," a fundraiser to support the annual spring musical on Friday, Feb. 22. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased in advance by calling Nicolette Perna at 201-­262-­0172 ext. 2243 or email NMHSmusical@gmail.com with your order. This Week In New Milford

The Board of Education will be holding its regularly scheduled work session Monday, 7pm in the Media Center at New Milford High School. The Environmental and Energy Commission will be holding its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, 7pm in the upstairs conference room at Borough Hall. What exactly is the commission responsible for? The Commission keeps an index of all open areas, whether publicly or privately owned. This includes any open marshlands, swamps and other wetlands.
