For the second year straight, New Milford Jr. Knights Football wins the Super Bowl Championships.
New Milford Jr. Knights Football was recognized by the Mayor and Council Monday for their outstanding achievement of taking the Super Bowl title for the second year in a row. The coaches, players, family and friends crowded Borough Hall as the team received certificates from the Mayor and Council.

The Mayor and Council recognized the outstanding achievement of the New Milford Jr. Knights football team at Monday's meeting. Before a standing room only crowd, Mayor Ann Subrizi handed each member of the undefeated team a certificate honoring their achievement. After a season interrupted by flooded fields and unexpected snow, the Jr. Knights beat overwhelming odds to take home the Super Bowl trophy in 12-0 victory against Saddle Brook.
