Green Knights Playing For The State Championship Saturday

Assistant Football Coach Cottiers asks residents to come out and support the team as they make a play for the title.

Residents of New Milford: This Saturday, December 8th, 2012, our New Milford Knights Football Team plays for its first State Championship in 26 years. Unlike 2007, when our Knights played at MetLife Stadium, this game will be played at Kean University in Union, NJ this Saturday (12/8) at 1pm. This is a special group of kids. They deserve as much support as possible as they try to bring home a State Championship trophy back to New Milford. This past Friday we were forced to play our home semifinal game at Dumont High School because of an unplayable field. No one was pleased about this. However, the crowd that came out to that game alleviated all frustrations. It was a magical moment when Dante Tobler ran 89 yards down the sideline for the …

Mayor & Council Meeting, Fire Awareness Program, Little League Registration & more this week

There's lot going on in New Milford this week

It's a busy week in New Milford. Here's what's going on, so mark your calendars: 1. Little League Registration is being held tonight and Thurs. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the David E. Owens Middle School. David E. Owens Middle School, 470 Marion Ave. 2. Mayor & Council Work session is scheduled for Wed. at 7 p.m. upstairs at Borough Hall. New Milford Borough Hall, 930 River Rd. 3. David E. Owens Middle School PTO Meeting is scheduled for Wed. at 7 p.m. The new anti-bullying law will be discussed.  David E. Owens Middle School, 470 Marion Ave. 4.
