Washington Township's B.J. Raji, Packers Win Super Bowl XLV

Nose tackle leads defensive line in 31-25 victory against Pittsburgh.

ARLINGTON, Texas – There were no dances, no references to appliances or any similarities with William Perry Sunday night. It was just pure hard nose football for B.J. Raji. And when it was all over, he was offering congratulations and praise for everyone but himself. The second year nose tackle from Washington Township was the first Green Bay player to address the media after the Packers beat Pittsburgh, 31-25, in Super Bowl XLV. “We knew all year, defense was making plays for us,” he said. “I want to give congratulations to the Steelers for making it this far.
