Bergen County Clerk's Office releases official results from November 6 election

Preliminary counts show Putrino and Ashley take the election, while residents cast a resounding 'no' for the Field of Dreams.
A total of nine candidates are running in local elections—four for two seats on the Council, and four for three, three-year terms and one for a one-year term on the BOE. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The Field Of Dreams question goes to referendum today, giving residents the chance to finally give their opinion some weight at the polls.
Because of all of the power outages that Sandy wrought, the Borough makes the decision to move voting to Berkley Elementary School and the library.
Philosophically aligned on most of the hot-button issues, 'Candidates Night' saw little controversy and much agreement.
