We will never say..goodbye

The funny thing about life is that it always ends.

We don't know how it will happen
We don't know when it will happen
& we don't know why it happens to the people we love

Every single day a spouse loses the love of their life
Every single day a child loses a parent
Every single day a parent loses their baby
Every single day a person loses someone

Death is the scariest thing to the person who survives it
Death means losing someone's touch forever
Death is the final goodbye

When someone we love dies..
We believe we cannot go on
We cannot live without them
We cannot breathe any longer

If you alter your perspective, everything changes

Look through the eyes of a sick child
Look through the eyes of an old man

..then look with your own eyes

Look past their physical appearance
Their appearance is not what will matter when they are gone
Look at their soul, and their spirit that will always live on

They are no longer afraid to die

You are the one who is afraid to let go of their physical presence
Their touch
Their smile
Their body

We are made to believe that when we cannot touch or see something, it is not real
We are programed to never believe in the unknown..because its not real

If you never let go of someone's outer shell
You will never really know their soul and the person hiding within
