Overnight Parking Ban Suspended During Holiday Season

Police chief says all other parking statutes will be enforced.

A ban on overnight parking on all New Milford Streets will be suspended from Dec. 20 through Jan. 2.

During the length of this suspension, all Title 39 parking statutes will continue to be enforced. (This includes direction and side of street parking; angle parking; and one-way street parking.)

"We like to extended this courtesy to the community each year," said New Milford Police Chief Frank Papapietro. "People have students returning home from school, overnight guests and may run out of space in their driveway."
