New Milford Summer Sports Camps and Clinics

The is offering a number of summer sports camps designed to develop foundational skills while providing superior instruction in the game. Run by New Milford High School coaches, these camps offer skill building and training in basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer and wrestling.

All summer sports camps will accept "WALK UP" registration for campers on the first day of camp for each session. 

Girls Summer Basketball Clinic: 

• What: The Lady Knights Basketball Clinic seeks to develop the fundamental skills, conditioning and mindset of young female athletes in New Milford while also helping them to foster a love of the game. Each day will focus on offensive and defensive skills stations as well as team play led by the NMHS Coaching Staff & Key Players. 
• When: July 9- July 13    
• Time: 8:30 am-12:30 pm    
• Where: NMHS Gymnasium    
• Cost: $100 per session $90 per session for 2+ children 

Knights Summer Baseball Camp:

• What: The New Milford Baseball Program is proud to announce the 1st Annual Knights Baseball Camp. The camp will be offered to players entering Grade 5 thru Grade 9. The purpose of this camp will be to give instruction on the various aspects of the game of baseball and to prepare campers for competition on their current level as well as for competition on the next level. 
• When: July 23- July 27
• Time: 9 am - 3pm
• Where: New Milford Babe Ruth and Little League Fields. 
• Cost: $165

New Milford Recreation Tennis Clinic:

• What: New Milford High School in conjunction with the New Milford Recreation Commission will be conducting a tennis clinic/camp for interested students entering grades K-8. It will be open for all eligible children living in town. We will be focusing on the basics of the game of tennis as well as proper conditioning. The clinic will be run by Coach Ricciardelli and the tennis staff. 
• When: July 9 - July 12
• Time: 9am - 12:15pm
• Where: High School Tennis Courts
• Cost: 1st child: $90; 2 children: $170; 3 children: $230

New Milford Summer Recreation Soccer Camp:

• What: New Milford High School, in conjunction with the New Milford Recreation Commission, will offer three soccer camp sessions for boys and girls entering grades 1-8. Sessions will be open to all eligible children living in New Milford and will be run by NMHS Head Girls’ Soccer Coach Joe Albanese. Children may participate in any or all sessions. 
• When: Session I: July 9-13; II: July 16-20; III: July 30-Aug. 3
• Time: 9am - 1pm
• Where: Soccer field behind New Milford High School (or NMHS Cafeteria on inclement weather days)
• Cost: $125 per week; $100 per week if registering multiple siblings or multiple weeks

New Milford 1st Annual Wrestling Clinic

• What: New Milford High School in conjunction with the New Milford Recreation Commission will be conducting a wrestling clinic/camp for interested students entering grades K-8. It will be open for all eligible children living in town. Two sessions are being offered. The clinic will focus on the basics of the sport of wrestling in order to lay a foundation for future success at the high school level. The clinic will be run by Coach Ray Cottiers (Class of 2004), assistant coach of the high school wrestling team. 
• When: Session I: July 16-July 20; Session II: July 23-July 27 
• Time: 9am - 12pm

• Cost: 1 week $100; 2 weeks $175
