New Milford Knights Roll Through Weekend Opponents
New Milford High School athletics had plenty to celebrate over the weekend. Here is a look at what our local student athletes have been up to.
It was a successful weekend for the New Milford Athletic Department. The Knights came away with four wins on Friday.
The following results are courtesy of the New Milford Athletic Department’s twitter feed:
- Volleyball beat Lyndhurst for their fifth victory of the year.
- Girls tennis beat Saddle Brook
- Boys soccer beat Cresskill 4-2
- Varsity football beat Ridgefield 31-19 on the road.
- Freshman football earned their first win of the season on Sunday over PalPark/Leonia.
According to gridironnewjersey.com, the New Milford varsity football team is tied for third, out of 16 teams, in the NJ North 1, Group 1 Power Point Standings after their win this weekend.
