Next stop--playoffs for Junior Knights.

New Milford's Junior Knights took the Northern Division Football Championship and have advanced to the playoffs where they won their first game against Elmwood Park 26-6. The Junior Knights have won seven out of eight games for the season.

Their next game is against Woodridge on Sunday. If they win, they will go to the Superbowl, determined to repeat last year's victory.

The team is coached by Jeff EllisSr, Eddie Prevot, Jeff Ellis jr, Tim Haas, Tom Ryan, Brian Johnson and Dan Davis.

Congratulations!!!! Why didn't we make a big deal around last year's victory? Was the championship title recognized by the mayor or council? Was there a sign in front of borough hall congratulating the team? I hope I didn't miss all of it.
