In the middle of the North 1 Group 1 pack for powerpoints, New Milford improved to an 8-5 record after hosting a quad meet against Tenafly, Hackensack and Paramus Catholic over the weekend.
The Knights, who entered the meet on a high note after defeating Elmwood Park, 39-31 on Friday, were able to stay ahead of the Paladins for a 42-35 victory and then never looked back during a 51-15 sprint over Tenafly.
Between the two victories New Milford recorded 12 pins, ranging from under one minute to taking up to four minutes to complete. Nick Eggert, Nick Williams and Zachary Suarez each had a pair of pins.
Hackensack proved to be the toughest opponent of the day, only giving up 15 points to the Knights, in their 60-15 victory. Kyle O'Donnell (195) found a way to stick Danny Reyes-Delgado to the mat in 2:51; Suarez (285) pinned Myles LeSane-Hunt in 3:12; and Roobie Jurgensen (113) escaped with a 9-5 decision over Connor McVey.
