Gabe Colucci, a senior at New Milford High School is hosting a walk a thon to benefit the NephCure Foundation.
NephCure Foundation is an organization that I hold near and dear to my heart. NephCure and its wonderful directors back in 2004 became family. We shared so many phone calls, supported eachother and we grew strong. We were working towards a cure and better treatment for our childrens kidney disease. Today I see first hand how much NephCure has grown. Teresa Giudice from the New Jersey Housewives is playing for the NephCure Foundation on Donald Trumps' "The Apprentice."

I am so proud to say that NephCure became our family when we needed them the most. Caring listeners. We shared many tears and fears. We were inexperienced parents dealing with a new kind of disease. Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis and Nephrotic Syndrome.
We are thankful that our son Gabriel remains in remission.
