Super Bowl Stars Show Jersey Pride

Knowshon Moreno, Mike Adams and others speak about the atmosphere this week in the Garden State.

Countless questions were fired at members of the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks during Media Day in the Prudential Center on Tuesday. Media Day typically consists of thousands of members of the media asking all kinds of questions of the players as they prepare for the Super Bowl.

Russell Wilson was asked about his “Michael Jackson” hair, Richard Sherman was asked if he had a celebrity crush—“Beyonce is everyone’s crush,” answered Sherman—and Terrence “Pot Roast” Knighton was asked if he was hungry at the moment. Knighton said "Yeah, I am hungry right now."

This year, Patch was able to see how some of the players on both teams, including local boys Knowshon Moreno, of Middletown, and Mike Adams, of Paterson, felt about playing the Super Bowl in New Jersey. Seattle’s Richard Sherman and Bobby Wagner were all smiles when addressing the location of this year's Super Bowl.
