Local French Students Hope to Punch Tickets to Quebec
Members of the David E. Owens and New Milford High School French Clubs are looking for help in funding a trip to Quebec.
The New Milford Middle School and High School French Club held a fundraiser Saturday at Applebee’s in Hackensack in an effort to help fund a trip to Quebec.
Students, parents and teachers came out between 8 - 10 a.m. to support the David E. Owens Middle School and New Milford High School’s French Clubs.
The two Co-Advisors of the Quebec Immersion Trip, Issam Helwani, a French teacher at David E. Owens, and Serge Nadeau, a French and Spanish teacher at New Milford High School, also came out to support their students’ goal of making “some much needed cash to punch their tickets in the spring.”

Donations can made out to DEO Middle School 470 Marion Avenue and sent to New Milford, NJ 07646.
