The Week Ahead in New Milford
Mayor and Council meeting and planning board meeting dominate the week.
There is an open public meeting of the Mayor and Council Monday at 7:45pm in the Council Chambers of . Prior to the meeting, there will be a work session beginning at 7pm in the upstairs conference room.
On the agenda is the approval of the 2012 capital budget amendment and
introduction of the bond ordinance to authorize the improvement of Center Street, from Boulevard to River Road, in the amount of $183,000.
Also on the agenda is the appointment of Scott Mooney as Borough Prosecutor, to replace Michael Kingman who recently resigned, and Marc D. Ramundo as alternate Borough Prosecutor.

On Tuesday there will be a combined work session and public meeting of the Planning Board in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall at 7:30pm. The borough's planner, Joseph Burgis, will be discussing updating the to include acquisitions of flood prone properties.
