Hasbrouck Heights Official Election Guide

Everything you need to know about the local election, county, state and Presidential for this Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Voters will go to the polls Tuesday to decide among three council candidates for the two available seats.  There is no contest in this first ever November Board of Education election and there are county and state seats up for election and of course, the Presidential election to decide on.

Polls open in Hasbrouck Heights at 6 a.m. and will remain open until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6. Click here for the full recap on poll locations and district information.

Hasbrouck Heights Republican council incumbents John Dingertopadre and Russell Lipari seek re-election to second terms. They face a challenge from Democrat Christian Semenecz, a former councilman.

In the first ever Novemember election of the Board of Education trustees there is no contest.

Longtime trustee Constance Doheny is running for re-election. Mark Stefanelli who was appointed to fill a vacancy last fall seeks election to a full three-year term and newcomer Robert M. LaMorte runs for the third seat. Longtime member and current president Josephine Ciocia decided earlier this year to not seek re-election.
