'Go Vote for Barbara' says Christie After Question on 'Gay Rights'

A pair of concerned New Jersey residents took advantage of their moment in front of the governor by questioning him directly. Check out the video of how he responded.

With just days to go before the election, Gov. Chris Christie made a stop in River Edge to do a bit of last minute campaigning with former New York City Mayor Rudy Guiliani.

On his way inside the pizzeria to give his campaign speech, Christie took a few moments to chat with concerned citizens. A pair of interactions were particularly interesting.

Christie was asked first asked about property takes from a concerned New Jersey resident who stated the following:

“My property taxes are more than my Social Security check. Retired people can’t survive with property taxes this high.”

Christie gave an answer indicating that the amount that goes into schools is a major reason why property taxes are so high.

A moment later, the Governor found himself with the finger of another concerned resident in his face who was asking him about ‘gay rights.’

Christie ultimately suggested that the woman posing the question should, “Go vote for Barbara.”
