The suspension of the ban on overnight parking on all New Milford streets comes to an end Thursday.
The ban on overnight parking was suspended to accommodate college students and family members who would be returning home or visiting during the holiday season.
"We like to extended this courtesy to the community each year," said New Milford Police Chief Frank Papapietro. "People have students returning home from school, overnight guests and may run out of space in their driveway."
Enforcement was set to begin on Jan. 3. Be sure to get your cars back in the driveway or off the streets Thursday evening to avoid ticketing Friday morning.
