NMPD: Bikes Stolen From Resident's Backyard
Police said victim thought her son had borrowed them
The NMPD said a borough resident reported two bikes stolen from her shed.
The woman noticed the bikes were missing on June 18, according to police, but thought that her son had taken them on a trip to North Carolina.
"After speaking with him, she realized someone stole them from her shed, but no other items were taken," according to police reports.
