Three day program trains officers on emergency response situations
In the wake of school shootings that have taken place throughout the country, the New Milford Police Department has been making sure they are ready should a similar situation ever arise.
The NMPD took part in a three day long simulated school emergency response drill, which taught officers tactics and even allowed them to carry out the drills against actors posed as gunmen with the use of "simunition" rounds.
