New Milford Resident Killed when Struck by SUV in Dumont

A 63-year old New Milford resident and long time local business owner was killed reportedly killed Wednesday morning when struck by an SUV in Dumont.

Eun Ok Jo a 63-year old New Milford resident and entrepreneur, was killed Wednesday evening when she was struck by an SUV while crossing a street in Dumont.

Jo, an immigrant from South Korea, was the longtime owner of My Town Cleaners in Dumont, the Record reported.

According to the Record, Lucy Camargo-Cortes of River Edge drove the vehicle, which has diplomatic license plates and was owned by the U.S. State Department.
