New Milford Crime Rates Drop from 2012
Statistics released earlier this week show that crime has dropped in New Milford in 2013 through September when compared to the 2012 numbers.
The New Jersey State Police released an updated version of the Uniform Crime Reports form September 2012-13.
New Milford PD saw drops, or broke even, in every statistical category. The numbers below represent the total number of arrests made in each category as reported by the State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Division of State Police Uniform Crime Reporting Unit.
2012 – Jan. – Sept.

- Motor Vehicle Theft – 1
2013 – Jan. – Sept.
- Assaults (Simple) – 16

- Motor Vehicle Theft – 0
