On June 28, Building and Grounds Supervisor Ron Stokes detected that an unauthorized entry had been made into the custodian office at Berkely and various items had been taken, Papapietro said. Upon further investigation, Stokes discovered that entry had been made through a roof skylight.

Detective Sgt. Brian Long reviewed the surveillance video with Stokes and, with the help of Principal Jerry Perrone, they were able to identify the five juveniles involved.

"Four of the juveniles can be seen climbing onto the roof of the school from the front wall of the building while the fifth juvenile remained on the ground," Papapietro said.

Just a bit dissapointing when our youth can't find something better to put their energy into.

There is nothing constructive for them to do in New Milford, maybe thought should be given to making the Water Company property into a teen center....

As a New Milford teenager, I have to agree with your comment Ms. Klinger.

New Milford resident Danielle Block just started up a new teen center at the Wyckoff YMCA. She also runs the Teen Leaders Club. Wyckoff Patch did an article on it this week. http://wyckoff.patch.com/articles/it-s-all-fun-and-games#photo-11349013

Wyckoff is a little far for New Milford kids to commute to....
