Elderly Man Missing Since Sunday
Family asking for the public's help in finding the missing Bogota resident.
A 76-year-old man suffering from dementia and high blood pressure has been missing since Sunday and could be in the Teaneck or Bogota area, a family member says.
Victor Portalatin, of Bogota, was last seen around 11 a.m. when he left to go for a walk near Leonia Avenue and Fort Lee Road in the borough, said his son, David Portalatin. Family members reported Victor Portalatin missing to Bogota police and have been putting up posters around the area in the hopes someone will recognize him.
Although he once got lost while out for a walk, he fell nearby and was quickly located by police. This is the first time he’s been gone for such a long time, David Portalatin said.
