Drug Take-Back in New Milford Saturday

Here is your chance to dispose of expired medication in a safe, environmentally friendly way.

The New Milford Police Department is signed up for the DEA Drug Takeback program.

Despite their well-intended purposes, in some cases, prescription medications have begun to cause major issues around the country. Whether it is addiction, theft, loss or disposal, prescription pills need to be handled with care.

Any resident who has unused or expired prescription medication can turn them in at police headquarters for proper disposal this Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
