New Milford's Jenean Igmat Named HVIAC Cross Country Rookie of the Week

The College of New Rochelle's Jenean Igmat (New Milford, NJ/New Milford HS) has been named Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Cross Country Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. 

Igmat is solidifying her place as the Blue Angels' #2 runner, placing 29th overall at the Purchase College Invitational on Saturday, September 7.  The rookie completed the 5000m course in 25:31.95, helping The College of New Rochelle to a fifth place finish with a team score that improved by 19 points from the 2012 Purchase Invitational.
