Lady Knights Soccer Wins First Championship in School History
The New Milford Knights varsity girls soccer team entered their sectional championship tournament as the No. 1 team and they exit with the crown.
New Milford High School’s varsity girls soccer team entered their section tournament as the top seeded team despite never having claimed a section championship.
That changed on Thursday as the girls knocked off No. 3 seeded Park Ridge by a score of 2-1.
New Milford’s Cydney Borner scored both goals for the Knights and Alexis Monroy set her up with assists on both occasions.

Knights’ goalie Autumn Rodgers also registered six saves on the way to claiming New Milford’s first girls varsity soccer sectional championship.
