Knights Three-peat as MFL Super Bowl Champs

The New Milford Junior Football League Juniors team capped a 10-1 season with a Meadowlands Football League Super Bowl championship on Saturday.
The Knights defeated Harrison 14-12 in a nail biter and successfully brought home their third consecutive Super Bowl championship.
The Juniors crushed Elmwood Park 27-0 in their first playoff game and posted their second consecutive shutout when they beat Hasbrouck Heights 12-0. The Knights allowed a total of 12 points in the entire 2013 playoffs. A common saying in the world of football is that, defense wins championships. That certainly seems to be the case with the 2013 Junior Knights.
