Bonfire Excites Junior Knights for Super Bowl

The New Milford Junior Football Knights brought home their third consecutive Super Bowl victory on Saturday afternoon.
The 1994 football classic Little Giants said it best: “Just remember, football is 80 percent mental and 40 percent physical.”
One thing is for sure, the New Milford Junior Football Knights have an edge when it comes to the mental part of the game.

On Friday evening, the parking lot of the recreation building behind borough hall was packed with family, friends, cheerleaders, coaches, organizers and players of the NMJFL for a bonfire and pep rally. Cheerleaders performed, players and coaches spoke, and the team was excited to hit the field on Saturday. Even the high school team came out to show their support.
