Berkley Kindergartener Wins Christmas Tree Light Guessing Contest

Berkley Street Elementary School student and daisy scout Natalia Lombardi was closest with her guess of how many lights are on the New Milford Christmas Tree in front of Borough Hall.

A tree lighting ceremony was held was held on Dec. 8 and Santa was brought in on a fire engine by the New Milford Fire Department on Dec. 15.

Mayor Ann Subrizi presented Lombardi a handshake and Darlene Minko presented Lombardi with a Toys R Us gift card below the borough’s emblem at Monday evening’s Mayor and Council meeting. Her siblings, mother and father were all on hand.
