Antonoff, Swift Nominated for Golden Globe Against U2, Coldplay, Timberlake

Jack Antonoff, a former student in New Milford, co-wrote a song with Taylor Swift which has been nominated for a Golden Globe award. Check out the four songs here.

Jack Antonoff, a former student of the Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County, has had some serious success over the last few years. Recently, Antonoff worked with and co-wrote one of Taylor Swift’s songs, “Sweeter Than Fiction.”

The song, which can be heard in full here, was nominated for Best Original Song in a motion picture for a 2014 Golden Globe award. “Sweeter Than Fiction” plays during the end credits of a British film titled “One Chance,” a film about Paul Potts, the winner of Britian’s Got Talent.

Antonoff and Swifft, who penned the song together, find themselves nominated against the like of U2, Coldplay and Justin Timberlake. Here are the nominees for the award:
