Spectrum for Living 30th Anniversary Walk

River Vale, NJ (September 2013) – On Sunday, September 8, 2013, Spectrum for Living will be hosting the Northern New Jersey Walk at Van Saun County Park in Paramus, NJ. Registration is at 9AM, with the Walk following at 10AM.

Attendees are encouraged to come hungry to the 1.75 mile Walk as breakfast and lunch will be available. The Knights of Columbus of Westwood will also be grilling up a delicious BBQ luncheon as the Dessert Sponsor, Mr. Cupcakes, will be providing desserts to attendees and entertaining with the Mr. Cupcakes mascot.

Special guests also include County Executive Kathleen Donovan, Call-Us-Clowns, face painter, Ivonne Ramirez, and Sweet Dreams Photo Booth. Many thanks to other supporters including the Knights of Columbus #2188, St. Thomas More Council, Joseph Jingoli & Sons, The LaBue Foundation, Driscoll Foods, Trader Joe’s of Westwood, Dollar Crazy of Emerson, Home Depot and Costco of Hackensack and other local area businesses.

Currently, Spectrum for Living facilities and services touch the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in over 100 New Jersey communities. Spectrum for Living is one of New Jersey’s most respected and recognized not-for-profit organizations assisting adults with developmental disabilities in Bergen, Passaic, Middlesex, and Monmouth Counties. Spectrum provides a wide array of housing, medical, clinical, habilitative, social and educational services to more than 200 residential consumers and hundreds of community clients.
