Oradell Public Library & Eco Galleria Hold "UN-Black Friday" Fundraiser Shopping Event

           ORADELL PUBLIC LIBRARY & ECO GALLERIA 
     PRESENT "UN-BLACK FRIDAY" SHOPPING EVENING
                                          ON NOV. 1st

On Friday, November 1st, the Oradell Public Library and local artisanal gift boutique, Eco Galleria, will team up to give busy holiday shoppers a low-stress, local alternative to the upcoming Black Friday shopping extravaganza.

That day, shoppers are invited to drop into Eco Galleria, located at the historic Oradell Train Station at 400 Maple Avenue, anytime between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. 

While browsing this independently-owned boutique,they will enjoy light refreshments, free gift wrapping, a 10% discount on all purchases, and 10% of all sales will be donated to support the youth department at the Oradell Public Library. Eco Galleria Owner KathrynLongo will be on hand to provide expert gift suggestions for those tough-to-shop-for individuals on holiday gift lists, including teachers, babysitters, bosses, and party hosts/hostesses. The library’s Youth Department will use the proceeds from this fundraising event to invest in new books and educational resources and to fund its diverse programs, which include baby, toddler, and pre-school storytimes; youth arts and crafts activities; science, math, and reading seminars; a recently introduced Lego Club;and summer reading initiatives.

Ranked among the best gift shops in Bergen County by the 2013 Bergen Health & Life Reader’s Poll, Eco Galleria carries an array of items created by artists from North, Central, and South America. Featured items include jewelry, pottery, fashion accessories, personalized gifts, and home and garden decor. Many of the pieces stocked at Eco Galleria are handcrafted, and the shop frequently works with its artisan suppliers to deliver custom orders. Eco Galleria is open to the public Tuesday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays, except by appointment.
