New Milford After the Storm

Patch takes a trip around town to see the after-affects of the storm

The storm that took much of the Northeast by surprise left many residents of New Milford without power on Sunday afternoon. In addition to the residents, many businesses along River Road were also without power, including the CVS strip mall, Shop Rite, Dunkin' Donuts, and the 7-11. Even borough hall was without power, while the police department was running on generators. PSE&G trucks were seen throughout the borough working to restore power. Borough officials advise that residents be aware of downed power lines and trees and use caution.
