A Look at the Week Ahead in New Milford

Don't miss out--see what's going on in town this week.

Beginning Monday, July 2, will implement their summer hours. They are:

  • Monday - Thursday 8:00 am -- 4:30 pm 
  • Friday 8:00 am -- 1:00 pm

This schedule will be in effect until Friday, August 31.


. Local and county officials will be attendance, along with representatives from United Water. The meeting is open to the public.

The meeting is expected to give local officials and residents a chance to talk about flooding issues and the affect of repetitive flooding on their towns. 

Representatives from New Milford's  and Oradell's Citizen Action to Preserve Oradell (CAPO) will be in attendance.

The meeting will take place at One Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack at 7 p.m.


The Environmental Commission is meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the upstairs conference room of Borough Hall. 


New Milford Jr. Football Skill and Speed Team Training Program will begin on Tuesday, July 3. 

This program is designed to improve speed, agility, power, strength and conditioning. Football specific skills include O/line D/line, linebackers and runningbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs, and quarterbacks. It also includes understanding football strategy.

New Milford Recreation has announced that there will be one FINAL Fall Soccer Registration on Saturday, July 7 from 10am-12pm at the recreation building.


Reminder: Borough Hall will be closed for the July 4th holiday.

New Milford residents and SOD members: this meeting is key in our battle to save New Milford from the grotesque development plan being pushed by UW and Hekemian Co. It is imperative that we come out for this meeting. Wear your buttons. Ask your questions. Don't let this opportunity to be heard slip away.
