Fly Towards A Degree in Aviation at Bergen Community College

A recent projection that shows a demand for over 1 million new jobs as pilots and airline technicians over the next 20 years has Bergen Community College expanding its aviation program.

Do you believe you can fly? Well, it may be a reality that many young people should look into.

According to nj.com, Bergen Community College is expanding it’s aviation program to keep up with a demand for pilots and technicians.

Boeing reported earlier this year that over the next 20 years, there would be a demand for 498,000 new commercial airline pilots and 556,000 new maintenance technicians. This was a projection by the 2013 Boeing Pilot & Technician Outlook.

The Bureau of Labor and Statistics reported that the median salary for Airline and Commercial Pilots was $92,060 in 2010.
