Junior Knights' Seniors Appreciate Parents, Collect Donations

Check out the photo gallery from Senior Night for the New Milford Junior Football Knights.

Saturday evening was senior night for the New Milford Junior Football Knights. The eight graders, players and cheerleaders alike, who are in their final year in the program, were individually recognized and presented their parents with a rose.

Outside of a potential playoff game, Saturday was the final regular season home game many of the Knights will take part in.

NMJFL President George Adelung was able to get almost every Knight to give his or her mother a kiss on the cheek.

The Knights also did their part in supporting a good cause by collecting canned and paper goods and donating them to the Ascension Church Food Pantry. Dozes of shopping bags filled with goods were donated.

Check out the photos of the Knights in action and showing their appreciation to their biggest supporters, their families. Feel free to send any additional photos to Rob.Heinemann@Patch.com and leave a shout-out to your Knights in the comments section.
