$784K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in New Milford

Kenny’s Convenience Store on River Road in New Milford sold a winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth more than $780,000.

The ticket was purchased on Thursday evening. Jersey Cash 5 posted the winning ticket numbers, 7-8-16-18-38, and the prize total, $784,919 before taxes, on Friday morning.

Kenny Patel, owner of the store, said he sold several tickets Thursday evening and that he hadn’t heard from anyone and wasn’t sure who the winner was.

Patel also that he hoped the lucky winner was someone local who could put the money to good use.

Kenny’s Convenience Store is open from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. everyday but Sunday. Did you buy a Jersey Cash 5 ticket on Thursday or know who won? Let us know in the comments section below.

It is always true that the only certain way to positively guarantee winning the lottery is to get the numbers on your ticket to match the actual drawn numbers...if only there was a way to know that in advance! Meanwhile, if you're interested, I have my own little just-for-fun page which generates personal quick pick numbers. As I say, it is strictly just for fun, but you never know your luck!
