300 Elmwood Park Residents Join Spencer Savings Bank to Conclude Its Movies Under the Stars Series

Spencer Savings Bank, a community bank headquartered in Elmwood Park, N.J., continued its Movies Under the Stars series on Friday, September 20, 2013, at the Boro Field, in Elmwood Park, N.J., attracting more than 300 community residents. 

Spencer Savings Bank partnered with the Elmwood Park Recreation Department to host the showing of the feature film “Bedtime Stories,” a family comedy about a hotel handyman, Adam Sandler, whose life changes when the extravagant bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start coming true. Admission to the event was complimentary, and moviegoers enjoyed freshly popped popcorn, candy and cold beverages.

Guerrero, President of Spencer Savings Bank. “We look forward to hosting these Movies Under the Stars events, because they are family-friendly outings that everyone can enjoy. Spencer Savings Bank also hosted a movie event in Westfield, N.J., on the same night, featuring the film “The Lorax.” These two events concluded the bank’s Movies Under the Stars series for the year, but it will recommence in the spring of 2014.
