Storm Conditions Expected, 15-Below-Zero Wind Chills Possible in New Milford
Bone-chilling temperatures and heavy snow expected Thursday into Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued an urgent winter weather message for New Milford and surrounding communities. A winter storm warning is in effect from 6 p.m. Thursday to 1 p.m. Friday. The warning includes the following:
- Hazardous snow and blowing snow.
- Snow accumulation of 6-8 inches.
- Wind chills of 15 below zero to around zero from late Thursday into Friday.
