Back to the Garden at Fresh & Fancy, Local Wine Festival

Fresh & Fancy Farms is hosting Back to the Garden, a Woodstock inspired festival. There will be a live band, local food and drinks, fresh produce and crafts for all ages. Guests can tie-dye t-shirts, learn how to make a handmade flower crown or paint a pot. Meg Low, owner of Fresh & Fancy, said that she is looking forward to inspiring the community to come together for a fun day on the farm. Back to the Garden will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring their own foods and drinks as well. 

Also, Fresh & Fancy Farms is running a local farm market every Thursday through Saturday through the month of October. The farm market includes all local and seasonal produce, along with local honey & fresh jams.

Visit the Wine Festival at Historic New Bridge Landing this Saturday and sample and purchase Garden State wines from Cava Winery, Ventimiglia Vineyard, Four Sisters Winery, Unionville Vineyards, Old York Cellars, Westfall Winery and Amalthea Cellars in a scenic historic setting.

Taste fine food from Sanducci’s and Choripan Rodizio. Enjoy music from River Acoustic Band, Particle Theory, and Wood Jam with Kelly and Ashley Wood. Tour historic Jersey Dutch sandstone houses on a Revolutionary War battleground. Proceeds will benefit the building of a history museum. Rain date: August 25.

Tickets are $25 at the gate. Tickets for designated drivers are $10. Admission includes a New Bridge Landing wine glass and commemorative journal. Photo identification required at the gate. Historic New Bridge Landing is less than a mile north of Route 4. Follow signs for parking or take NJ Transit to the New Bridge Landing Station.
