New Milford Girl Scout Troop 4163 happily joined Clean Community Day 2012 to make our town a little cleaner and brighter.
We had a wonderful morning planting mums at the Welcome to New Milford signs around town as well as the sign at our Senior Center. We weeded the front stairs area and gave it a sprucing up. Go check them out.
We walked up River Road (from the Senior Center to just before Main Street) and collected a large garbage bag full of nastiness. Ugh, people please be aware.
Between vodka bottles, coffee cups, newspaper, napkins, etc, etc, etc and one fabulous stepped on bag of dog poo, my girls were unbelievably mature and were so very proud of themselves. Thank you little ladies. They earned another patch for their uniforms.
Thank you Sue and all the people who organized this event. My girls truly had a fantastic time and cannot wait to do this again.
Thank you Anthony, Mima, Malorie and Mary for all your help.
Sincerely,
