Mayor and Council, BOE, Top the Week Ahead in New Milford

Governor hosting Town Hall Meeting in Bergenfield.

Governor Chris Christie is hosting an open town hall meeting Tuesday in Bergenfield at Conlon Hall, St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 19 North William St. Doors open at 2 pm and the meeting will begin at 3 pm. The public is invited to attend, but seating is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis. No bags of any kind are permitted in the venue. Personal items are subject to search.

Monday:

There will be a regular public meeting of the Mayor and Council at 7:45 pm in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Prior to the start of the public meeting, there will be a work session at 7 pm in the upstairs conference room at Borough Hall. The public will be able to speak to the 2013 Municipal Budget. Also on the agenda is New Milford School Superintendent Michael Polizzi. Click here to see a full copy of the agenda.

There will be a regular meeting of the New Milford Board of Education at 7 pm in the High School's Media Center.

Wednesday and Thursday:

NM Junior Football and Cheerleading Signups: Final Registration for the New Milford Football 2013 season will take place on Wednesday April 24th and Thursday April 25th from 7pm to 9pm at the David E. Owens Middle School cafeteria.  Please visit www.nmjfl.com for details.

Saturday:
