Star From 'The Sopranos' Judges Wing Eating Contest

"Vito" from the popular HBO series came to the New Radburn Deli in Fair Lawn for their first annual competition

A mob of spectators—pun intended—gathered at  on Sunday afternoon to watch Joseph R. Gannascoli, who played Vito Spatafore on HBO's "The Sopranos," judge the deli's first annual buffalo wing eating contest.

Seven participants had five minutes to devour as many wings as possible. Joey from Elmwood Park took first place, winning a $100 cash prize, followed by Frank from Saddle Brook (who won a $50 gift certificate to Radburn Deli) and Brian from Wall ($25 gift certificate). Brian's total beat out that of his father, Bill.

After the competition, Gannascoli signed copies of his new book, "A Meal to Die For: A Culinary Novel of Crime."
