Snowfall Predicted For Friday Into Saturday

National Weather Service predicts snowfall between 2 to 4 inches Friday night into Saturday

 

Hopefully, the snow shovels and boots are still in easy reach. According to the National Weather Service, a light snowfall is predicted late Friday into Saturday in the Bergen County area.

The National Weather Service predicts that snowfall is expected to begin after 10 p.m. night with accumulation of about 1 to 2 inches. Another 1 to 2 inches is expected Saturday morning before 1 p.m. and there is a slight chance of snow showers predicted for Sunday.

Here is a breakdown of the forecast for Teaneck:

Friday Night: Snow, mainly after 10pm. Low around 31. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. 

Saturday: Snow, mainly before 1pm. High near 37. Light wind becoming north between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. 

Saturday Night: A slight chance of snow showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 21. North wind between 14 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday: A slight chance of snow showers after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 33. Breezy, with a west wind between 15 and 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday Night: A slight chance of snow showers before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 20. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
