Changes have also occurred in the district's math program. Everyday Math has been implemented at the elementary level and Connected Math has been implemented at the middle school level.
It is the stated goal of the administration that students take algebra in the eighth grade to ready them for pre-calculus or calculus by their junior year in high school, the goal being to positively impact their SAT math scores.
