Real Housewives Visit Yet Another Bergen Town

There was a buzz going around Hasbrouck Heights late last week that certain New Jersey celebrities made their way into town. And the rumors are true.

Kathy and Richie Wakile of The Real Housewives of New Jersey came to  last Wednesday for a celebration for their son. Their visit was filmed for an episode of The Real Housewives which will air next fall, said Celestino Gencarelli, owner of the pizza shop.

Gencarelli is a longtime friend of both Kathy and Richie and has known both of them since high school. He went to high school with Richie and has known Kathy even longer as he said she’s a friend of one of his cousins.

He said the family wanted to take their son Joseph out for a celebration and the teen chose Hasbrouck Heights Pizza, which Gencarelli said happens to be the family’s favorite pizza place.

Viewers will need to look out for an episode in the fall to see the pizzeria, Gencarelli and some of the pizzeria staff members.

Cast members made a recent visit to New Milford, filming a segment for their fourth season at the Garden Cafe.
