President's Birthday Celebrated on the Dance Floor
The Bergen County Historical Society hosted a Country Ball in honor of George Washington's birthday
As part of President's Day, the Bergen County Historical Society took to the dance floor for a Country Ball that starred Rodger Yaden as General George Washington and Revolutionary War re-enactors from the Third New Jersey Regiment.
During the Revolutionary War, Washington turned the Zabriskie-Steuben House at New Bridge into his headquarters while Continental troops made camp between Van Saun Park in River Edge and Soldier Hill Road in Oradell.
